Jack and Danielle’s wedding day was such a beautiful event. Right in the heart of Alexandria Bay at the Riveredge Hotel and the beautiful St Mary’s in Clayton NY.
These two met way back in college, but started dating a few years after. Danielle moved to Syracuse for her first job and Jack grew up in Lafayette and had recently returned to the area. They discovered they had a mutual friend and the next week Jack showed up at her kickball game. They went for drinks and food afterwards and the rest is history.
They fell in love after she introduced Jack to the 1000 Islands- where her family’s summer cottage is. They bought jet skis together and spent the summer discovering new places on the river. Jack proposed at the end of last summer on the dock at the cottage. They had just taken a jet ski ride and the sun was setting when they got back. He walked her to the end of the dock to watch the sunset and that is where he got down on one knee. They drank margaritas he had prepared ahead of time and watched the gorgeous sunset!
They love watching movies together, especially on weekend nights in. Jack will watch anything except chick flicks. She like movies based on real stories and they both love ice cream and pistachios.
