I thought I’d discuss this a little bit for those of you who may be wondering what a first look is or for someone who just wants some more information regarding them:)

A first look is completed prior to the wedding ceremony. This gives the bride and groom a chance to see each other before the ceremony, and allows them some privacy in a serene, calm environment where true emotions are sure to unfold.

This is somewhat staged, where the groom would face away from the bride, and the bride would start to walk towards him. Once within reach, she would tap his shoulder or use her hand as a blindfold and he would turn around and see his beautiful bride for the first time.

All the while, your wedding photographer, will be freezing these moments in time for you. From a good distance away of course, and chances are, you won’t even know they are there!
